Catching Some Light

Full Moon, Water, Lighthouse, Reflection, Blue Moon

A collection of people were on the Kewaunee pier, near the lighthouse, as this August full moon was rising over Lake Michigan. I believe most of the spectators are fishermen, but not all. Notice the gal, second from the right.  You can see the light of her cell phone – no doubt trying to capture a photo.  The other lights on the horizon are distant fishing boats.

I took this photo from the shore; about 750 feet away. From a technical standpoint, there’s a lot of digital noise in this image – but it was taken in relatively dark circumstances.

You can get a better look at that gal with the cell phone, and the others, by clicking on the image.
