10. Keep Your Eye on the Horizon
It seems odd, but most people have a difficult time holding a camera level.
It is important to capture images as level as possible. Pay attention to
the horizon (or other vertical or horizontal lines - trees, door frames, etc.) before you snap
your picture.
Also, where you place the horizon in your shot affects what
is emphasized. To emphasize the land, put the horizon in the upper part of your
frame. To emphasize the sky,
put the horizon in the lower part of your frame. Avoid a horizon line that is centered in your frame.
