Rare Atmosphere

Lighthouse, Kewaunee, WI, Lake Michigan, Sunrise, Sun, Morning
The conditions were unique for a Lake Michigan sunrise.  The sun dominated a hazy horizon – shown here  perfectly situated behind the lighthouse at Kewaunee, WI on Lake Michigan’s western shore.

Beautiful Branch – Autumn Display

Autumn, Leaves, Fall, Color, Red, Yellow, Orange, Maple, Tree, Branch

The beautiful colors of autumn are a testimony to God’s artistic creativity. What a blessing to behold the autumn leaves.

The leaves in our area have faded and stripped from the trees by gusty fall winds this last week. But we still have some dandy images.

Fall Reflections

On my way to work, one morning, I stopped along the highway to photograph a patch of bushes that were turning bright fall colors. I’d been noticing them for days and finally took the time to stop, to catch the early morning light.

I took plenty of photos and then noticed the reflection from the water in the ditch that runs along the road. I thought the color combination was very appealing.

I originally titled this image, “Fall in a Ditch,” but as you can see, I thought better of it.
