Autumn’s Palette
I love the way the color and light were dancing among these leaves of autumn.
This is another shot taken while waiting to pick up my wife at her place of work. The earlier post – Fall Arrangement – was from the same shoot.
This looks even better in the larger version. Click the photo to see for yourself.

Fall Leaf Patterns
The color of this little autumn woodland scene caught my eye. The lines and textures of the leaves kept my interest. The little stem that supported these leaves was covered with tiny thorns.

New Beginnings
Party Lights
It’s the middle of winter and my last few posts have featured some pretty dreary tones. I thought it was time for some color so I did a little browsing and found this gem waiting on my hard drive since last spring.
These leaves, photographed in the woods of Northeast Wisconsin (near my home), were early spring sprouts; debuting last April. The way the sunlight illuminates them, it reminded me of colorful party lights strung though the trees.

Beautiful Branch – Autumn Display
The beautiful colors of autumn are a testimony to God’s artistic creativity. What a blessing to behold the autumn leaves.
The leaves in our area have faded and stripped from the trees by gusty fall winds this last week. But we still have some dandy images.
